Empowering Lives Through Technology
BACKGROUND
While the world has evolved and communities have greatly embraced the digital revolution, some areas are still lagging behind this digital evolution. Some communities especially in Sub-Saharan Africa is either slow or have not catch up with the digital technology. There is therefore a pungent need to fill this gap and empower and train a new generation of ICT technocrats to be a new brand of IT ambassadors. On a larger scale those who are cut off this trend are the vulnerable poor especially the young which are part of our vision.
It is therefore in this backdrop that LB MULTIMEDIA FOUNDATION has come up with this project to expand its center the LB MULTIMEDIA YOUTH TECHNOLOGY EMPOWERMET FOR AFRICA ( LBYTEA) to give ample IT training to the youths and to adults who desire to embrace the digital technology.
Our Mission
At LB Multimedia Youth Technology Empowerment for Africa, we are driven by the belief that technology can transform lives. Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch training in information communication technology, graphic design, digital marketing, web design, hardware maintenance, secretarial skills, project management, database management, and outreach to vulnerable communities.
We are committed to making a positive impact in the world through our humanitarian services and training programs.
ABOUT LB MULTIMEDIA FOUNDATION
Being a discipline, efficient and self-motivated team, we are aimed at assisting IDPs, Underprivileged, Orphans etc to have reason to belong to the society without limitations. LB Multimedia (which is short for Lawrence Banlajai the founder of the establishment) was founded in 2018. The main objective was to create a training ground to the population in Information technology (IT) at an affordable cost, bring IT services at the doorsteps of households and reach out to the Vulnerable. The high demand for IT services made us to embrace vocational training. Computer training programs offered by the LBYTEA include; office administration, computer maintenance, websites, graphics, social media management, cyber security and many more.
